A full-time Risk Security and Operations Officer is required to manage the operational delivery of all travel safe, close protection and other deployment services to The Inkerman Group’s international client base.
This role will be responsible for the daily management and implementation of all operational activities related to client taskings, including risk assessments, planning, schedules and client liaison. It is expected that the work will consist of a mixture of planned and ad hoc operational deployments and will include being on-call during Operations 24/7, and to be the point of contact with the client when the team is deployed.
Candidates will ideally already have a minimum of five years operational experience, ideally including the ability to plan operations, brief and manage teams effectively, manage the administrative requirements and to deliver exceptional client service are all essential requirements.
The successful applicant for this role will have good communication and observation skills and be of sound character. Maturity, the ability to accept responsibility and remain calm under pressure are also important qualities. Previous International experience in operational deployments, including close protection in the police or commercial sector, ideally Special Branch, Diplomatic Protection or Royalty, or Military Protection Officers, or equivalent is highly desirable, as is proficient language skills (Spanish, German, French).
The client base is International and travel will be required; when not deployed the position will be based at Group’s Head Office in Ashford, Kent. In addition, it is expected that this position will deputise for thr Group’s Operations Manager as and when required, including the operational control of the Company’s 24/7 Operations Centre. This is a demanding permanent role in a successful business and ideally suited to individuals who are adaptable, with a flexible “can-do” attitude.
