Military Intelligence Trainer/Planner, Romania

This is a part-time on-call position based out of Alexandria, Virginia. You will be supporting a contract in Romania for short durations of time as necessary to meet the needs of the client.

As a member of the Cubic Global Defense Team - Romania, candidate will be a senior, high-energy, military training Subject Matter Expert (SME) that is fully knowledgeable & experienced in planning, coordinating and executing intelligence related programs at the operational and tactical levels, and establishing a military intelligence corps with intelligence fusion capabilities (horizontal and vertical). Work related time is not to exceed 6 months, consisting of periods in and out of country over a year period.

* Assist in designing intelligence war fighting functions and force development actions to generate ISR multi-echelon units in order to successfully provide intelligence support to Land Forces, Joint/national forces, and NATO/multinational forces through intelligence sharing and cooperation.

* Assist in improving the intelligence war fighting functions in Land Forces, and integration of Military Intelligence Directorate (MID) and Military Intelligence Brigade (MIB) assets and capabilities across the total force.

* Assist the Romanian Armed Forces in designing it intelligence war fighting function.
** Organizational design, Special Equipment, Manning, and Training
** Assist in developing training capabilities that will improve the knowledge, skills, experience (SKE) proficiency of Intel professionals to allied standards
** Assist in developing, refining a ROU Intelligence “Foundry” program.
** Assist Armed Forces in increasing the readiness of critical ISR units.
Job Details:


Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge and experience with planning and execution of live and instrumented training that includes integrated constructive simulations, live maneuver training, and live-fire training exercises.
Knowledge and experience in the operation of combat training centers (CTC) – to include organizations, personnel management, professional development and training programs, scenario development, operational planning, instrumentation systems, training aids/devices, logistical operations, and related support programs.
Proficiency in developing new training models and strategies, related detailed training plans, and associated programs of instruction with training support packages
Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a multinational training environment.
Understand and accept host nation military culture and values and associated differences.
Knowledge and experience to develop relevant and well-designed training plans and scenarios for the conduct of Combined Arms, Joint, and Multinational training programs.
S2 experience at Battalion Brigade and G2 experience at Division or Corps is required. Intelligence assignments at higher level HQ and/or Army Staff /TRADOC is desired.
Command and General Staff College (CGSC) graduation is mandatory. Senior Service College (SSC) graduation is desirable.
Bachelor degree is mandatory. Masters level of formal education is desirable.
Assignment and/or experience in Force Development and Combat Development assignments are desired.
Resource management / budget process knowledge and experience is desirable.
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to Secret level classified information.
