General Responsibilities:
Maintain good relations between NPA and Iraqi Security Forces, NGO’s, Government Departments and establish key points of contact for each.
Act as the main focal point of contact for all expats.
Responsible for obtaining all licenses and approvals from Iraqi Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Coordinate with the Basra Office, the Liaison Manager, and the IPD office in Erbil on all issues regarding NPA.
Coordinate with IKMAA and the DMA/IKMAA Operations Room.
Advise and assist on general security issues regarding NPA’s expat movements.
Acquire and share information about the security situation.

In cooperation with the management team, ensure implementation of NPA’s security set-up, SOPs, and other routines.

Experience:
Must have:
3 – 5 years' experience from the mine action sector
Experience form liaison work
Excellent references
Desirable:
Experience in working with International NGOs
Experience from working with security analysis or similar
Other qualifications:
Written & verbal proficiency in English, Arabic and Kurdish
Good interpersonal skills
Good communication and understanding skills
Able to work effectively under, & adapt to, difficult conditions
Willingness & ability to travel within inside & outside the country
Personal Competencies:Ability to function under pressure with minimal supervision
