Global Intelligence and Threat Coordinator

Job Description: 

The Global Intelligence and Threat Coordinator will, work within the Global Maritime Security Operations group and will report to the Manager and Deputy Head of Global Maritime Security. He/she will support the routine and extraordinary needs of GMSO’s security missions including port vulnerability and threat assessments, training, policy development and global intelligence and threat analysis.Primary responsibilities include the ability to effectively monitor emerging global threats to corporation assets, write informative and accurate briefings for use by security leadership, track and document the department’s progress on security-related projects, and assist with port assessment and other reporting requirements.
Provide GMSO analytic coverage on weekends and during the week on a staggered schedule in relation to the other Global Intelligence and Threat Analysts (unless prior arrangements to cover the weekend day has been arranged with another GMSO team member
Research and author security assessments on a variety of security topics as directed
Track shoreside security incidents and when compared to proprietary tripwires and regional security manager input recommend and author changes to the corporation Warning Matrix.
Assist the Global Intelligence and Threat Analysts with information gathering, research, analytics, and production of finished intelligence products for use by department and corporation leadership.
Assist the Sr. Global Intelligence and Threat Analyst with the administration of the global travel risk management program as needed.
Research and develop an outstanding knowledge of specific threats facing the cruise industry in specific global locations, as directed.
Update all internal intelligence sharing databases as needed/directed.
Oversee the port assessment and threat assessment (PVTA) tracking, information gathering, development of threat assessments and publication of finished PVTAs.
Coordinate and arrange logistics for CSO meetings and maintain CSO meeting minutes
In coordination with the Director and Head of Global Maritime Security, author and update GMSO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal department use.
Assist with the development of the security section of the quarterly Board of Directors HESS repory
In conjunction with the Manager and Deputy Head of Global Maritime Security author changes to Security (SEC) procedures and GMSO Security Incident Decision Processes (SIDPs)


Requirements:
Qualifications:

Four year degree with major in security, intelligence, foreign affairs, or similar related field
Understanding of the maritime industry is advantageous
Strong analytic capability
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to support multiple priorities concurrently
Ability to successfully interact with individuals at all management levels
Exceptional computer skills, including: MS Excel, Project and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly in order to meet deadlines
Experience working with senior-level executives in a corporate environment
In addition to English - fluency in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, French, German, or Arabic
