Assistant Chief of Safety & Security

Assistant Chief of Safety & Security is to assist Chief of Safety & Security in all Operations and Administration matter. In the absence of Chief Security, Assistant Chief of Safety & Security is responsible managing the Security Department. Assistant Chief of Safety & Security will also be required to liaise with the Hilton Safety/Security director on important matters and ensure that hotel is in compliance with all local safety regulations and emergency procedures. Specifically, youwill be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Arrange the duties for the shift and be responsible for the efficient discharge of duties by subordinates. Responsible for the safe custody of all files, pagers, walkie talkies, keys, etc and Fire Control Centre.
Check the cleanliness in the hotel perimeter, service lifts, locker rooms, passage way, etc.
Responsible for Security Supervisors conduct.
Be responsible for all cash escorts to and from the General Cashier’s Room. Record and issue Temporary ID Cards to all visitors, contractors or casual workers.
Attend all Fire Drills and respond to any activated fire alarms.
Ensure the Emergency Response Board is duly updated and all response team members are made aware.
Open CHUBB guest room and functions room safety boxes escorted by Security Officer.
Responsible of safe keeping all Lost & Found guest belongings and discharging them with a Final Discharge form.
Ensure executing all daily Security Officers and Security Supervisor checklist.
Ensure that clocking patrol is being carried out and reported printed out.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Department Head from time to time.
