Key Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure and guard the safety of guests and employees by walking surveillance rounds and patrol all of the Hotel’s areas.
To respond rapidly to requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional and hospitable manner.
To detect safety threatening situations and irregularities like unwanted visitors, mutilation or aggressive behavior.
To obtain all loss reports, investigate, follow up and determine course of action.
To monitor designated areas on the closed CCTV.
To handle guest complaints, comments, problems and requests in a professional and efficient manner, to document all complaints properly and to ensure that Security Supervisor/Manager is fully informed about complaints/issues relating to security operations.
To regularly liaise with the Security Supervisor/Manager to ensure that order is maintained in the hotel at all times, guests welfare issues are being dealt with quickly and smoothly and responses to emergency conditions such as fire or safety hazards and threat to life and/or property are coordinated and dealt in a calm, rational and persuasive manner.
To interact and communicate with guest and colleagues in a courteous, friendly, open and honest manner at all times.
To ensure that ‘Fire Exit’ doors are kept free of blockage at all times and that fire and safety equipment’s are in their right places.
To perform all tasks consistently in line with Fraser Standards and to adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.
To follow the security policy and procedures.
To perform any related duties and special projects as assigned by the Management.

To comply with and ensure adherence to all of the hotel’s policies and procedures.
To comply with all occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
To attend all schedule meetings.
To maintain a good working relationship with staff and colleagues throughout the hotel and sister properties.
To maintain in good working order all hotel property.
To maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Attain and maintain all relevant qualifications, for example, CCTV, first aid and other relevant qualifications.
Help train new hires on-the-job-trainees (On the Job Training), cross-trainees in the department.
To communicate effectively with all other departments.
To attend meetings, training sessions and any other required meeting or training session.
To be able to work in flexible roster.
To identify opportunities to innovate service delivery and product offering to meet and exceed client expectations.
To ensure safe work practices are adopted at all time and report any OHS concerns immediately to your direct manager or HR Manager.

To ensure that all material movements from the hotel to outside are with required documents.

Confident in English spoken and written skills
First Aid and CPR Certification
Security Officer Certification
Previous Experience in a 4-5 Star Hotel
Good understanding of the use of all safety equipment’s.
Understanding of safety practices.
Understand and demonstrate the appropriate use of facilities.
Knowledge to work CCTV cameras.
