A leading security group based in Qatar are seeking to hire a Security Manager for their Manned Security Services (MSS) division. The Security Manager will be reporting directly to the MSS Director and will play a key role in supporting the Companys growth and development. This role will include overseeing the day to day operations and Key account management.
To provide professional and quality services to all Clients, and ensure that the contractual obligations are met and appropriate security procedures are implemented.
To respond to client's calls immediately, act and respond proactively.
Ensure that any requests or complaint from Clients are documented in the complaint register accurately and appropriate action is taken accordingly to ensure the satisfaction of the Client in a timely manner.
Ensure that the operations team has visited the sites /assignments on a frequent basis and met with the security contact person. Check the effectiveness of the visits by the operations team. Conduct random site visits including night visits to check quality and efficiency of services.
Meet the client / contact person regularly to ensure that the clients are satisfied with the quality of service being provided and prompt response to any requests.
Plan security requirements for normal, special and high-risk events.
Oversee the Manned Security Tender process, ensuring that all tenders are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Assist the Divisional Head in preparing budgets for the division.
Review financial reports to ensure that efficiency and quality of security operations is being met.
Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies.
Ensure that all company provided and Client provided equipment is correctly accounted for and inventoried at the companys premises and/or on site where applicable through regular checks and inspections. Immediately investigate and report any losses/damage.
Organize regular meetings and reviews with Security Branch Managers and Operations Managers.
Assist in emergency management and contingency planning.
Arrange for or perform executive protection activities as and when required.
Ensure that Security training is provided where required and that security training is up to date and meets the requirements.
Prepare and recommend Security SOPs for sites and assignments. Carry out the established Zonal/Sector supervision plan.
Responsible for the correct scheduling of all operation Staff to ensure full and proper manpower coverage at the Client sites and ensure duties are recorded and monitored accurately from the Control Room and at the site as appropriate.
Prepare reports & presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedures.
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure manpower planning is scheduled in advance for new contracts.
Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
Create or implement security standards, policies, and procedures.
Continue monitor the prevailing local security situations and recommend to the client to take appropriate preventive steps in advance.
Will be responsible to ensure that all staff understand the company policies including Health & Safety.
Candidate profile: The Person
Excellent English is a must
Strategic decision maker
At least 8-10 years experience within manned security services.
5 Years experience managing a large team
Basic skills and understanding of financial reports / budgeting is preferred
Demonstrated ability to work across borders, cultures and time zones
Skilled negotiator with strong customer skills
Highly organised with an excellent ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
Strong performance manager with drive and enthusiasm to succeed as part of a team and deliver outstanding results.
An ability to motivate others to be successful
Excellent communicator with strong written and presentation skills
Strong ethical and professional values
A minimum 10 years of experience in similar role and industry
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience in Manned Security Services
Middle East experience
Experience managing a large service organization 1,000 + staff
