Job Description :
The Security Guard - SHARP must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively carry out “detect, defer, observe and report” process in order to safeguard property and personnel in assigned areas. The Security Guard - SHARP must have all Army / DoD required sexual harassment / assault response (SHARP) training in order to also serve as the SHARP Coordinator. The Security Guard - SHARP will be required to work at a fixed location such as an access control point and will be required to work as a roving patrol. Security Guards must have training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), basic first aid and the ability to clearly write reports in English. The Security Guard - SHARP must have a clean background with no previous felony arrests or convictions, no misdemeanor arrests or convictions related to theft, vandalism, domestic abuse, assault, or drug use / possession.
