Regional Security Manager, Greater China

Location: Greater China
Salary: $140k package

The Role
To be the primary point of contact within the Greater China Region to provide expertise, direction and support on all matters relating to physical security, counterfeiting, trademark protection, security risk identification, analysis and mitigation, manufacturing operations, security awareness, crisis management, travel security, executive security and investigative matters. The region consists of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.

Primary Objectives
Conduct investigations on all criminal and non-criminal activities
Support Compliance on compliance investigations
Conduct security assessments, and if required, due diligence, on all prospective distributors and other third party providers prior to contract approval
Conduct security assessments.
Conduct security assessments on third party distributors, carriers, product waste disposal facilities, farms, and third party logistics providers, etc
Provide security advice to senior regional executives and country managers
Submit periodic reports to each General Manager / Vice President regarding status of investigations and loss trends within their area of control
Keep updated on all possible security threats to the Greater China region and advise senior staff of precautions as required

Candidate profile: 
The Person Degree  Graduate/ Professional level degree preferred Certification  (CPP accreditation is preferred but not a substitute for education requirement). 

Language Mandatory: English fluency (oral and written) together with fluency in Mandarin (oral and written)
Cantonese or other China regional dialects are highly desired

Regulations  
Familiarity with laws pertaining to investigation constraints and criminal law in Greater China. 10 (ten) years experience in a responsible management position, preferably within a law enforcement or government agency in the region; and / or as a professional regional security manager with commercial experience for a minimum of ten years Must possess a strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior management, business clients, colleagues and external parties.

Develop and conduct crisis management and security awareness training programs for regional affiliates and counterfeit / trademark protection training programs for regional law enforcement agencies.

You must have a strong established network of security professionals and law enforcements contacts within the Greater China area. Memberships in professional security organizations such as the Asian Crisis and Security Group (ACSG), ASIS International, Transporter Asset Protection Association (TAPA), Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), etc are highly desired. 

OTHER Travel 
Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel
Significant travel domestically and internationally (40 - 50%)
