International Security Specialist

Job Responsibilities

Delex Systems Is seeking an International Security Specialist to perform daily administrative security duties in support of the international SAP security program. The ISS will ensure that all appropriate international policies and procedures are updated in accordance with pertinent U.S. Government regulations, policies, and procedures. The ISS will provide the following international SAP security support to include, but not limited to:

Review and update all international security documents including, but not limited to, the Project Security Instruction (PSI), Access Management Control Plan (AMCP), Security Classification Guide (SCG), etc.
Generate new international security documents as additional countries join the program for Government coordination and approval.

Train new international country security managers (CSM), in conjunction with the security education and training (SE&T) specialist, and provide recurring training for existing CSMs.
Provide each CSM with the all the tools necessary, including U.S. regulations (example: JAFAN 6/9), Fixed Facility Checklists, the Facility Requirements Document (FRD), the Facility Protection Document (FPD), the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the System Security Plan (SSP), training materials, etc., to build and manage SAP facilities.

Perform a Staff Assistance Visit (SAV) at international SAP facilities to ensure that the CSM is prepared for the security compliance inspection by the Program Security Officer. During the SAV, the ISS shall:
Review the security policies and procedures, international SAP documentation, and accreditation paperwork to ensure it is current with pertinent U.S. regulations and the country’s AMCP.
Review facility records to ensure files are current and accurate.
Ensure that the CSM has completed the annual self- inspections, inventories, and refresher training.
Coordinate with SE&T POCs to provide training materials.
Assist with updates to the Technology Assessment/Control Plan (TA/CP).
Support the International Security Manager at EXCOM and Tri-Service briefings.
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of the security requirements of JAFAN series or DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1 through 4.
Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of the security requirements of DoDM 5200.01 Volumes 1 through 4 or DoDM 5220-22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual.
Basic knowledge of international program security.
5 or more years of experience with SAP operations and SAPF construction.
Independent self-starter, able to perform multiple tasks, constructively engage and resolve challenging situations
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations
