You will become a key person in the security function, whose fundamental mission is to direct and control the management of security risks that occur in our business in order to ensure compliance and maintain a balance between risks and opportunities.
Your role
As Head of Site Security you will be responsible to establish and maintain a high level of governance within your area of responsibility. Your mission is to establish and maintain common requirements, processes and standards, and to provide expert support and guidelines across the group. The Head of Site Security reports to Group Security's Head of Staff.
You have the total responsibility to govern site security within Saab. You will monitor, regulat and provide expertise, working in close cooperation with other group functions, such as facility management, and provide expert support to line managers and security managers. You will also cooperate closely with our external security surveillance provider.
Security in the Defence & Security industry is strongly regulated by national laws and regulations. You need to be able to identify, interpret and implement such requirement into Saabs management system and management processes. Since you have a worldwide governance and support responsibility within site security, you need to be able to work in an international business environment with a variety of security protection regulations.
You will also have an important role in the development of Saab's Global Security Centre, a global security- and crisis management operations centre in Linköping.
Your skills and experience
This position requires a visionary leader with strong leadership and communications skills, as well as a high level of expertise. Practical experience from operational site security work is mandatory.
International work experience is desirable. Ideally coupled with suitable business qualifications and relevant university degree, or equal professional experience from governmental or private sector.
Security Management and Risk Management qualifications are highly desirable as well as Corporate security, site security and best practice. The position requires knowledge in Corporate Governance and Project Management. You will need experience in compliance oriented work with applicable laws, regulations, standards as well as governmental instructions for security protection. Saab is a global company, a great deal of travelling, domestic and global, is expected, sometimes with short notice.

Proven to interact well with both stakeholders and colleagues and to work across cultural barriers.
Ability to communicate security and risks to technical and nontechnical audiences.
Critical thinker with integrity as well as strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to pass background screening, Swedish security clearance, credit screening, and drug tests etc.
Drivers Licence.
