PAE (Formerly A-T Solutions) is currently seeking an Arabic Linguist/ Cultural Advisor to provide translation and interpretation support to multiple OCONUS locations. Primary responsibilities include:
Provide translation for training personnel in austere environments
Interpret fast oral conversations between English and target language
Demonstrate effective translation (written/spoken) from Arabic to English and English to Arabic
Acting/Performing quality control of all foreign language translations and transcriptions as interpreter during discussions as required
Developing and implementing translation methodology and quality control procedures and standards
Work with a diverse training audience to ensure modules of instruction, conversation, and training guidance is accurately translated from Arabic to English/English to Arabic
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree coupled with 2+ years experience; OR a High School diploma coupled with 8+ years experience.
Be Fluent in spoken and written English, and the language of Arabic
Be willing to deploy (for 6 months – 1 year) to multiple OCONUS locations
Possess an active Secret Clearance
Must have a valid US Passport
Must have the ability to meet minimum requirements for OCONUS deployment
Willingness to live/work in austere environments
