Requirements:
Experience as a Syria focused analyst, MISO professional, or advertising / marketing professional- Active DoD Secret Security clearance
Desired
BA / BS degree- Experience working in a Combatant Command headquarters
Knowledge and experience with advertising, marketing, media campaigns in the Middle East / North Africa region
Read and write standard Arabic
Speak one or more Syrian dialects (Levantine, Mesopotamian) with near-native fluency
Experience within the last five years living in Syria or direct personal interaction with native Syrians which would convey an in-depth understanding and appreciation for trends and key issues that will resonate with specific population groups

Conduct analysis that supports the development and dissemination of MISO products that effectively convey messages to foreign audiences to achieve USCENTCOM-specified goals and objectives. Content requirements may include: audio, video, text, graphics, and any other information featured on approved platforms. Conduct relevant cultural and media research and develop an overarching messaging digital video and audio product strategy for content development and media dissemination means that supports the Government's requirements. Originate and prepare written material, such as scripts, stories, advertisements, and other material. Plan, coordinate, or edit content of material for publication. May review proposals and drafts for possible publication.
Combination of education and years of experience will determine level and compensation.
