Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Security at Lucasfilm, the Security Manager is responsible for planning and managing the global physical security program. This role will ensure that our people, intellectual property, and other assets are protected from physical threats by planning adequately and providing personal supervision to ensure execution. It is expected that the Security Manger will work closely with our parent, The Walt Disney Company, to identify and leverage existing services and capabilities to provide coverage for our corporate offices and for a global film production footprint. Further, we anticipate that the Security Manager will collaborate with the information security and content protection pillars to provide expertise on physical security aspects of our comprehensive approach to securing our intellectual property.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience and demonstrated success in positions of increasing responsibility within private sector corporate security or a related public sector organization,
3-5 years of experience in a significant leadership role.
Senior leadership skills to provide direction to management and professional staff within the organization.
Ability to understand and interpret organizational priorities and develop consensus within a climate of diverse operational activities and agendas.
Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization, including briefing executive management on the status of security and issues surrounding risk management decisions.
Critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to develop effective and efficient security plans in keeping with best practices but customized to varied and diverse environmental conditions
Experience conducting investigations
Experience developing and operationalizing Emergency and Crisis Response Plans.
Experience with Access Control and CCTV systems, especially IP connected next-gen devices.
Experience with the intelligence cycle.
Demonstrated experience managing contract and vendor security resources.
Required EducationAssociate’s Degree in Communications, Business, Criminal Justice or equivalent working experience
