The Role

A terrific opportunity has become available for an experienced Fraud and Security professional to join the NSW Supply Chain security team.

Reporting to the NSW Logistics Manager and working closely with other senior managers in CCA, this role will be responsible for providing security and fraud management services to the NSW supply chain team in an effort to protect business infrastructure and minimise risk and loss to the business.

In this high-visibility role you will work closely with key business stakeholders (both internally and externally) across a number of key areas as you strive to promote and implement best practice security, fraud and risk controls and lead the state security team across the operations in line with Group Security & Fraud Standards, Policy and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversighting the security team and day to day staffing levels to ensure optimum and cost effective security support is in place and in line with Group Security and Fraud Standards.
Ensure the Group Security and Fraud Standards are implemented and monitored in the State;
Identifying key state assets (people, infrastructure, technology, finance and products) and manage the development and implementation of security systems in conjunction with the National Asset Protection Manager for safeguarding these assets and ensuring return on capital employed; and
Adopt a continuous improvement process.
Jointly implementing fraud control strategies, policies and procedures to minimise the opportunities for fraud and corruption.
Undertake as directed internal investigations into allegations of fraudulent activity using all legal investigation strategies.
Ensuring timely central reporting of fraud allegations/suspicions in accordance with Group Standards.
Deliver regular training and awareness programs in the State to increase awareness of security and fraud risk.
Ensure the existence and relevance of procedures for the management of emergency situations at key locations;
Ensure that the local security staff (employee and contract) possess the necessary skills and abilities to perform their roles.
Undertake state security and asset protection projects under direction and guidance of the National Security and Fraud Control Team.

About You
Proven track record in security system management.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in security management/leadership with in the private sector or government agency 9with relevant licenses).
Understanding and demonstrated application of risk management and investigation concepts.
Sound leadership and communication skills (written and oral).
Performance management skills.
Integrity and good character.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to develop and implement security and fraud control plans.
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, Power Point.
Understanding of FMCG / production facility security and fraud risks is desirable
