Loss Prevention Officer (Security Officer)

Loss Prevention Officer is to provide a safe environment for Burberry employees to work in and our customers to shop in, whilst ensuring that at all times appropriate measures are in place to protect all company assets against all forms of loss through implementing policies, training staff and utilising in store technologies.

Responsibilities:   
To prevent crime and all other causes of loss or damage to Company assets
Detect and apprehend person causing loss or damage to Company assets where applicable with local law.
As the first point of contact, ensure all customers are welcomed in line with the Burberry Experience expectations and bid farewell upon exit.
Fully conversant with store evacuation procedures.
Conduct regular health and safety checklists and employee training as required on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis.
Efficiently maintain all security related systems/documentations and to implement security procedures as directed by Asset and Profit Protection Manager.
Maintain the highest standards of grooming, courtesy, professionalism and personal conduct in accordance with the traditions of Burberry Ltd.
To embody all aspects of the “Burberry Experience” and to display these values whilst carrying out their role.


Personal Profile:  

Working knowledge of retail loss prevention / Asset and Profit Protection best practices
Knowledge of security systems such as CCTV, Access control and intruder alarms
Luxury retail experience and first aid trained (optional)
Ability to work weekends and public holidays and adapt shift patterns as required
Pleasant personality and smart appearance that represents the Burberry image
Excellent communicator
Basic English skills
