Integration and Training Instructor (OCONUS) - Iraq

Location: Iraq

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing professional training in support of Government programs.
Serves as supervisor of training and integration Protective Security Operators (PSO) in overseas locations
Liaison with other training entities involved
Conduct integration training for Local National Protective Security Officers
Coordinate in service training and firearms re-qualification
Shall obtain weapon qualification with the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249, and M203, and familiarization with the AK47
Evaluates and documents student performance, and provides performance counseling when required
Assists the Director of Training with the conduct of contract training courses

Qualifications:
Must meet the below minimum qualifications:
US Citizen.
Have or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance
Have a valid Driver’s License and US Passport
Two (2) years experience as a certified instructor in a security field
Five (5) years experience in protective security assignments
Two (2) of those years shall have been in a Supervisor in In-Charge capacity. This experience and background may have been gained in any of the following organizations:
U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Security Service.
U.S. Secret Service
U.S. Federal Agencies. e.g. FBI (Former Special Agents with protective security background)
U.S. Special Operations Forces
U.S. Military
Commercial executive protective services with military or police background.
Law enforcement experience (U.S. Military Police/Criminal Investigation Division; local and state law enforcement agencies, with Emergency Service Unit, Special Weapons and tactical training).


Physical and Mental requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to regularly walk, run, bend, and crawl, while wearing full protective gear.
Possess binocular vision, correctable to 20/30 (Snellen) and shall not be color blind.
Be capable of hearing ordinary conversation.
