PAE is currently accepting resumes for an experienced and qualified Fabricator and Logistics Specialist to fill a challenging and rewarding position. This position will be responsible for the design, modeling, fabrication, and repair of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) student training aids using modified off the shelf components. To include: Skills in electrical and electronic circuitry; schematic interpretation, PCB prototyping, layout and design, soldering, assembly and troubleshooting. Requires experience in the use and operation of basic power and hand tools; drill press, miter saw, table saw, band saw, etc. and the operation of various types of mixing, heating, molding, pressing, shaping, and related machinery to build, repair, replace, or modify steel, wood, rubber or plastic items. This position will also serve as the primary logistics coordinator for all operations. Personnel may be armed and will be required to wear personal protective equipment during the course of duties that may require extensive travel to various remote locations throughout the Iraq area of operation.

Responsibilities:
Construct, provide, and maintain operationally realistic IED training aids for use in IED training of Host Nations and possibly forward deployed forces. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning IED training aids.
Liaison with Intelligence Specialists to research IED intelligence and fabricate updated IED Training devices based on latest available intelligence.
Under the direction of C-IED Instructors prepare and set up simulated IED scenarios at training areas based on latest enemy Tactics Techniques and Procedures.
Manage, track, and develop IED training aid inventory and database.Establish training aid inventory and repair parts resupply levels, generate training aid budget projections, and place resupply orders as necessary.Track supply shipments and receipts.Ensure security of training aid inventory and proper disposal of expended components.
Generate training reports, maintain records of inventory status, inventory disposition, supply order status, and draft other general correspondence as required.
Support other logistics training support as necessary.
International and domestic travel required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Assertive and motivated; with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience in the use of basic power and hand tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment.
Requires a hands-on approach with a determined can-do attitude.
Strong computer, electrical and electronic circuitry skills.
SECRET Clearance required.
Computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint required.
Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and organizational skills essential.
Physical health requirements:Must meet the minimum medical and dental fitness for duty requirements for deploying to the CENTCOM AOR. Must be capable of conducting field operations to include digging and lifting of heavy items under extreme temperature conditions.
Civilian passport required.

Experience:
Military experience and previous deployment highly preferred.
Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.


Education:
A High School diploma and 8-10 years’ experience, or bachelors and 2-4 years of experience.

LOCATION: Iraq
DURATION: Minimum 6 month deployment required
Clearance Required: Current Secret
