Job DescriptionAs a Consultant you will be interacting face to face with the client. You will travel to the client’s location in order to lead their organization towards improved performance in strategy, operations and protection capabilities. In order to be successful you will be conducting interviews, reviewing Standard Operating Procedures, working with executive management, observing the protection team during training and operations and conducting Area Familiarization of the clients Area of Operations. This will allow for you to formulate a plan, strategy and solution to the Client’s needs and requests.
As an adviser you will shadow a client's protection detail while giving advice to the team leader and or manager. You will become an extension of the client’s team beginning with the planning phase and ending with a debriefing. This entails observing and mentoring the teams planning phase, mission execution and end of mission activities. The RIM adviser is there to not only observe but to provide real time feedback and advice to the Team Leader.
You will be called upon to improve an existing close protection detail or create a protection detail from ground up.Building a team consists of, but not limited to observing Area of Operations, visiting possible venues, equipment selection, interviewing future protection team members and writing Standard Operating Procedures for the new team.Training new client protection specialists
Served in a US or Foreign Military Special Operations Unit, Military Police, Intelligence or Government Close Protection Unit.
Attended and passed a US or Foreign Government or Military Close Protection Course
1 year experience operating in a high profile close protection detail
1 year experience operating on a Quick Reaction Force
Operating with indigenous forces a plus but not required
2 years’ experience of planning and briefing close protection operations
2 years’ experience operating as a low profile close protection specialist
Instructor experience a plus
Ability to meet travel requirements
In possession of a Passport
Leadership and management skills
Team player but also an independent thinker
Organized and able to multi task
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Have excellent Customer Service skills
Computer Skills (Excel, Word, and Power Point ext).
