Location: South Sudan

As part of a security management team, assume responsibility for the day to day security arrangements for all HPF staff, sites and assets in South Sudan.
Conduct security assessments of all HPF sites and make suggestions for security improvements.
Put together Standard Operating Procedures for the project to include the security of the staff (including evacuation plans as necessary) and items procured by the project.
Conduct regular security assessments of HPF sites including those run by 3rd parties to ensure compliance to international security regulations
Liaison with security contractors, security advisors at the British Embassy, and with the Crown Agents Security provider, to ensure up to date information is available, and that HPF staff are fully briefed on the security situation.
Provide advice to the HPF team of any in country personal security measures
Be prepared to escort vehicles and HPF staff between locations throughout South Sudan and advise on which areas of the country are to insure to travel too
Any other duties are requested by the Team Leader.
Minimum requirement
At least 5 years’ experience with security planning, development and implementation of procedures
Experience working in the South Sudan or other insecure environments
Experience conducting training for programme staff
Ability to advice and support staff in a consultative manner
Ability to work in unstable security environment with programmatic and administrative pressures
Ability to work in multicultural environment; strong sensitivity to intercultural effectiveness and relations.
Previous experience working with NGOs/ donor community desirable
Demonstrate good report writing and situation analysis skills
