Position Overview:

The Middle East and Turkey Security Manager is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of company wide security programs (both Physical Security and IT Security) across the entire Honeywell footprint. As Security Manager you will be responsible for developing, communicating and implementing the company’s security policies, procedures and programs. You will have ultimate accountability for the function and provide high level Honeywell Global Security (HGS) advice and recommendations to Honeywell Business Units operating in the area of coverage.

Responsibilities:

Security Management:
Manage the development and implementation of global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of the Honeywell Security Strategy within the area of coverage.
Develop, implement and continuously improve strategies for successful deployment of Security Strategies on major projects.
Maintain contact with all Honeywell Business Units operating in the area of coverage to drive the status of Honeywell Global Security as being a trusted partner.
Monitor and Communicate Country Risk Levels to all Honeywell Business Units in the area of coverage.
Support Honeywell High Growth Regions to drive Honeywell Business in a risk mitigated environment.
Engage with security services from public security and private/ commercial security providers, and identify areas of opportunity to minimize and streamline security spend. Provide regular Security Risk, Security Foresight Briefs and Emergency Security Briefs to Business Leads operating within the areas of coverage.

Manage the Emergency Evacuation Process for all Honeywell Employees in line with Honeywell Policy should events dictate.

Middle East and Turkey High Growth Region Support:

Serve as the Honeywell Global Security focal point for the High Growth Regions Middle East, Turkey, Central Asia and Russia President.
Implement and manage a Standard Honeywell Global Security Framework that is designed to enable business activities in a Risk Diverse Environment across Honeywell operations in Middle East and Turkey.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure all applicable Honeywell Global Security Policies are built into the business process.
Manage the development and implementation of global security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures within the scope Honeywell Projects executed in High Risk Countries within the Middle East and Turkey Region
Provide Country Security Briefs to key stakeholders with a viewpoint to ensure that appropriate Risk Mitigation Strategies are built into the business process.
Provide Strategic Oversight to any Third Party Contract Security Resources deployed to provide Physical Security Services on a Project.
Assess compliance of Clients Security Plans in the event they are used to provide protection to Honeywell employees deployed on a project.


Travel Security:
Maintain oversight of all Honeywell Business Travelers into the MIddle East and Turkey Region.
Conduct Security Survey on various Hotels located in High Risk Countries, where Honeywell utilizes to house Honeywell employees on business travel.
Provide Security Briefs to Honeywell employees traveling to High Risk areas.
Provide security support to travel undertaken in High Risk Countries by assessing the nature of the risks, designing and deploying Security Plans to support the travel in a Risk Mitigated environment.
Engage and manage Third Party Security Vendors to support High Risk Travel.
Assess compliance of Client Security Plans that will be deployed to safeguard Honeywell Business Travelers to High Risk Environments.
Provide emergency support to Business Travelers should events dictate.


Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree or diploma in the field of Security
Industry related professional certification
High caliber security professional with a minimum of 10 years progressive experience within a corporate/business environment, government service, loss prevention, or military security experience at a senior level
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
Be able to build a strong and high level security network
Capacity to maintain focus and composure in a dispersed, risk intensive and diverse environment
High Degree Competency managing complex operations across various Risk Environments.
Proven track record of implementing and managing security initiatives in a multi-country environment and across various business groups
Executive presence – ability to influence at a senior level
Regional experience is essential
