About Your Job::
As a Manager Security Operations you will be involved in developing the Qatar Executive (QE) Security Policy, ensuring that the QE department strategy is in line with Security Department’s objectives.
Frequent duties will involve monitoring and implementing the security regulatory compliance, procedures and quality systems and identifying threats and ensuring that they are evaluated and appropriately mitigated to be within the acceptable level of risk and controlled at all times.
In this role you will be required to provide security, support guidance and leadership to QE employees and ensure that the security culture within the Qatar Airways Group is fully impeded throughout QE's working practices as well as conducting investigations on all security affairs related to QE's employees and company operation
You will assist in intelligence gathering, initiatives and liaise with other airlines, law enforcement agencies and security professionals across the globe.
In this role you will also be responsible for managing and conducting security assessments of Qatar Executives Operations. You will monitor developing threats throughout the Qatar Airways network and neighbouring countries, including global issues that may affect operations and you will maintain a Threats Register.
Conducting Outstation visits and security audits as required, which may include security assessments of proposed new QE stations including staff and crew hotels
Your role will apply world’s best practice to identifying threats, implementing solutions, and maintain awareness of official threat information within Qatar Airways Group. You will plan and conduct high risk security operations as and when required, investigate serious security incidents, where they occur from time to time across the QE network, and provide necessary specialist security training as required.
About You::
You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Security Management, or similar education, preferably with additional qualifications in Aviation Security.
Ideally you be an Airline / Aviation Security expert in this field with a minimum of 7 year’s experience in a similar role, having experienced the conduct of security risk and threat assessments, geopolitical and intelligence analysis. You will have worked with Security Intelligence, Police, Military Police, preferably with previous Intelligence Analyst training.
You have strong understanding of airline operations and their security requirements and are able to work in hostile environments as and when required. You have managerial skills, ability to delegate work, strong mentoring / coaching skills, and ability to train / develop subordinate's skills.
The ability to work closely with outside parties including the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and worlwide authorities will be essential
