Our client is looking for a solid, reliable and hardworking candidate who is adaptable and able to cope with a demanding and ever changing (often at the last minute) schedule. Candidates need to be intelligent, resourceful and ready to go the extra mile. This is a full-time and permanent position working 5 days a week. Exceptions will occur and candidates will need to be flexible with their rest days and holiday dates as they may be moved around to suit the Principal’s schedule.
The principal has homes in Central London and West London as well as offices near Bond Street. Discretion and privacy are highly important to him.
Ideal candidate:
Experience driving for a very private/low-profile individual
Experience driving luxury car brands
A thorough knowledge of Central London and be able to select and adapt routes to avoid traffic as well as being able to make their way through it effectively
Absolute discretion and professional attitude
Team player
Responsible for the daily running of the vehicle i.e. Tax, MOT, repairs, servicing, etc.
Security cover (static security at the Principal’s home). SIA badge / experienced in offering security in a private home desirable
Works well with elderly people and can offer assistance / helping them into vehicles etc.
Happy to walk dogs
Good with children
Responsible for any other ad hoc requests / errand running etc.
Advanced driving test desirable
Motorbike licence category A an additional plus – must be experienced on a motorbike and comfortable with passengers
IT literate / use a blackberry and manage diary entries/calendar
Must live in/close to London
Non-smoker essential
Working Days : Wednesday – Sunday
Rest Days : Monday & Tuesday
