Armed Guard Job Vacancy

Basic Function Of Position:
Incumbent performs guard duties to safeguard Embassy personnel and property. Duties may include driving, walking, or stationary post, performed on a rotating shift basis. Services may be required at any time of day or night, weekends or holidays, at any Embassy owned or leased facility within the municipality of Jerusalem. Qualifying with and carrying a Diplomatic Security-approved firearm is a requirement.
Qualifications Required:
Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.
1. Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
3. Language: Level III (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English and Hebrew are required. (This will be tested. Please check the language level definition under the definition section).
4. Completion of mandatory IDF combat military service is required.
5. Must be eligible for an Israeli weapons permit as per Israel National Police Requirements.
