Role Summary/Purpose 
Pomigliano site Security leader will be responsible for all aspects of Security and crisis management, which will include physical security, electronic security, crisis management, emergency response activities, prevention, administration, etc. To provide a safe and secure working environment for the GE Business. As FSO, he/she will be responsible for supervising and directing security measures necessary to protect classified information and will be the point of contact for the government.

Essential Responsibilities 
Demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Provide leadership for the complex in the protection of life and property, instruct and train all employees in Security practices and procedures, identification of compliance vulnerabilities and reporting, and implementation of Security technologies throughout the site
Communications/Operation Center experience handling a dispatch center, Access Control systems, CCTV, and Radio Operations,
Instruct assigned personnel and supervise daily activities
Conduct preliminary investigations
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and identify vulnerabilities for immediate or follow-up resolution
Implement Security technologies throughout the site
Assist in development of service and maintenance contracts
Provide support to other organizations for the implementation of Security counter measures
Ensure compliance with all government regulatory requirements relative to Security and design and implement emergency response plans, as well as ensure FSO tasks (site classified information management)
Ensure that all processes are being continuously improved utilizing total quality management techniques
Liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement and government regulations
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability studies
Handle grievances, maintain Departmental discipline, conduct, and general behavior of assigned personnel.
Advanced knowledge of computer systems;

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Security Management, Criminology, Law or Political Sciences (or a high school diploma with strong experience with security technology, including hardware and software systems)
Significant experience in fire and security management / leadership with:
Advanced knowledge of computer, access control, fire and security systems
Communications experience – Dispatch Center, CCTV, and Radio Operations
Knowledge of Department of Defense Industrial Security requirements and regulatory requirements
Effective coaching expertise, when working with cross-functional groups, other businesses, and global teams
Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays
Fluency in English and Italian
EU Work Permit

Desired Characteristics
Additional experience with security technology systems, hardware and software is preferred.
Well-rounded understanding of total quality management techniques
Solid oral and written English language communication skills
Robust interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience in working with unions
