The Job

You willdevelop, implement and manage the Regions Physical Security program including security access, management control systems and related components to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors and assets of the company as directed by the Senior Director, Global Safety and Security Management and in alignment with the organization’s overall objectives. Act as a global liaison in the areas of design and implementation of physical security systems for regional Western Union office locations, including implementation, administration and maintenance of central access control, closed circuit television systems and alarm systems and awareness training to employees. You will apply and maintain appropriate security controls to comply with SOX, SAS-70, PCI, internal and external regulatory requirements.

With your previous knowledge and experience, you will engage with high-level law enforcement, intelligence, government and private sector counterparts to include in-country and international security agencies form and maintain these close relationships accordingly. You will assist in supporting the company’s executive facilitation and event planning programs and supporting as needed other shared service investigative needs, Crisis Management situations and Business Continuity planning.

About you

You will preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in an area of study relevant to this position and/or have extensive progressive experience in the armed forces security, military police or with a major law enforcement, public or private sector security organization.

Also you will be expected to maintain a high degree of discretion to ensure company’s interests and confidentiality are always protected. You will need to be flexible as the position requires “on-call” responsibilities and frequent travel as needed to support and maintain physical security standards throughout the Regions as defined by the company.

It is essential that you are a bi-lingual speaker in both English and French.
