Job Description

· Monitor and report S&LP process performance, analyze trends, report status and make recommendations for mitigation and optimization
· Perform data mining, monitoring and related analytics to detect patterns indicating theft or fraud
· Conduct detailed analysis of databases, records and data
· Develop, plan and design various reporting tools and investigative mechanisms
· Assist the Loss Prevention team with supporting analytics for their inquiries and investigation of theft and policy violations
· Evaluate processes to identify internal control weaknesses
· Identify and investigate exposures, develop and propose methods to minimize losses
· Conducts analysis to support internal and external theft and fraud investigations with data mining and analytics
· Cooperate with other functions to perform inventories and reconciliation
· Provide assistance to management to successfully deliver security and loss prevention programs
· Other related duties and projects as assigned

Basic requirements, qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years experience on investigative or loss prevention field, preferably in a multinational environment
· Detailed knowledge and experience in using i2 Intelligence Analysis Platform, Excel, Access, SQL or similar products/methods
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· High level of computer literacy
· Fluent knowledge of English
· Demonstrated ability to analyze data and understand complex systems and processes
· Effectively communicate complex procedures and solutions
· Able to work under high pressure and strict deadlines
· Quickly learn the usage of new computer software
· Accuracy, attention to detail
· Identify, extract and organize large quantity of relevant data and documents
· Highly organized, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to understand priorities
· Provide detailed reports of the outcomes of data mining
· Manage projects end-to-end
· Strong business ethics, discretion


Preferred Qualifications
Preferred requirements, qualifications:
· Law Enforcement or Information Technology related academic degree
· Experience working in Law Enforcement or Military/Government sector, investigations experience is an advantage
· Law Enforcement or Military/Government information analysis experience
· Knowledge of internal Amazon processes (for example Putty history2, Hitch report, Texas)
· Strong interpersonal and networking skills
· Self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team
· Speaking additional European languages is an advantage.
