Security Lead - Montego Bay, Jamaica

The Security Lead is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of the company’s assets and employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision and management of all Cimpress Jamaica Limited and contracted security related policies, procedures and personnel. Responsible for employee safety, asset protection, fraud/theft prevention, investigation, detection, emergency response, security systems and representation of the organization to external agencies on security related issues. The Security Lead will establish policies and procedures geared towards maintaining a high level of security and safety within the organization and surrounding premises.

Essential functions

Establish and maintain security policies and procedures that protect the assets of the organization
Establish and maintain policies and procedures that protect employees and other Cimpress stakeholders’ safety
Establish and maintain security and emergency response manuals outlining office opening and closing procedures, duties and responsibilities during hours of operation and the role of contracted security personnel during power outages and emergencies
Supervise contracted security personnel. Liaise with security company regarding scheduling, shift adherence, disciplinary infractions and requirements for security coverage outside of regular hours of operation
Liaise with external security agencies in cases of emergency such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Manage Cimpress’s internal security systems
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service
Plan, coordinate and facilitate security and safety workshops and trainings

Qualification & Experience

Tertiary level education preferred
Must have PSRA license
Investigative Technique Certification
Must have a minimum 5 years previous supervisory security / law enforcement experience.
First Aid and/or CPR certification
OSHA Certification is a plus
