Job Summary: 
Under the general supervision of the Loss Prevention/Security Supervisor is responsible for coordination, evaluation and recommendation/input of modifications to all physical security programs in designated NEX locations. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for burglar/hold up alarm systems in designated NEX locations. Ensures that the alarm systems function as designed and any problems are brought to the attention of the contracted company/facility for correction. Weekly follow up with location manager/supervisors ensuring that weekly alarm checks are conducted and documented. - Responsible for the keys and combination control in designated NEX locations. - Responsible for seal controls on incoming/outgoing freight, temporary storage units, and secured storage areas. - Assists the LP/S Supervisor in evaluating the effectiveness of installed security systems and recommends installation and modifications as indicated. - Assists with the physical security systems maintenance contracts; responsible for repair and cost efficiency. - Oversees the day-to-day physical perimeter security as well as internal security of the NEX. This encompasses patron/employee entrances/exits, patron/employee parking areas, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and fire/emergency exits. Internal security includes NEX fixtures, funds, merchandise, property and equipment. - Supervises ID Checkers, Fitting Room Attendants and Security Guards; including development of post orders, guard rounds, after hour physical security and other related duties as indicated. - Coordinates EAS Programs, including tagging policy/procedure and EAS activation investigations. - Coordinates utilization, recommendation of appropriate placement and ensures proper working order of CCTV Systems. Prepares reports of descrepancies, deficiencies and makes recommendations for improvement and/or changes. - Works under the supervision of the Loss Prevention Supervisor who provides policies, rules, operational procedures and instructions and is available for advice and guidance. Work is reviewed in terms of effectiveness and compliance with instructions, policies and procedures. - Performs other related duties as assigned


GENERAL EXPERIENCE: One (1) year experience in clerical or office work that demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Also experience is that which clearly demonstrates that the applicant possesses a knowledge of general law enforcement methods and techniques or experience in investigative type work which included the protection of property, equipment or materials; and person-to-person relationships in maintaining various rules and regulations. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One (1) year experience in loss prevention techniques and methods or knowledge of physical security programs, alarm systems, and CCTV systems. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE For 2 years experience: 1 year of academic study above the high school level, which included 6 semester hours in policy administration, police law, evidence, investigation, criminology, law enforcement or similar subjects, may be substituted for each year of experience.
