Job Description :
The Head of Security will be responsible for managing a team of Information Security Officers and for the overall design, development and implementation of IT security solutions for network, communication infrastructure, systems infrastructure and software applications. The Head of Security is also expected to undertake the job of allocating resources to the various security related activities and projects. It is imperative for the Head of Security to be available after business hours / during weekends should the need arise and ensure that all projects and service orders are complete and deadlines are met.
Will also be responsible to:
1. Lead team of Information Security Officer. 2. Define, review and enforce information security policy, standards and guidelines for business operations and technology implementations. 3. Proactively identify IT security risks including IT technical implementations or business processes. 4. Conduct security assessments and audits, penetration testing, forensic IT and incident management. 5. Coordinate Unit-wide IT Security matters such as incident response, intrusion detection management and IT Security advisories. 6. Design secure network architectures, virtualization technologies, MySQL/MSSQL database platforms, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA and web applications. 7. Work together with software development teams to define security objectives and guidelines. 8. Participate in security project implementations. 9. Pleasant and professional manner with all levels of clients which include all levels of project level. 10. Ability to work independently and in teams to complete full range of tasks assigned. 11. Complete any other additional tasks assigned by AIM Manager.
Qualification :
Possess a Bachelor Degree preferably in Information Technology. - CISSP, CISA certification will be highly preferred.
Experience : - 7 - 8 years’ experience relevant to security solution & implementation. - Good knowledge of security management, auditing methodology, technology risk assessment is required. - Firewall and Intrusion Detection Management experience. - Independent and able to perform tasks with minimum supervision.
