Our client is a leading multinational company for innovative and top-quality high-tech products in healthcare, life science and performance materials. Around 39,000 employees work in 66 countries to improve the quality of life for patients. The key business is pharmaceutical, consumer health, medical device and performance material. The China corporate head office is in Shanghai. In the following 3 years, our client has ambitious growth plan and this is a key role according the growth plan.
You will report directly to Managing Director China who is from Europe. As an individual contributor, you will manage security relevant activities in corporate level for all over China business.
You need to do coordination of event and conference security for relevant activities; Implementation of procedures and coordination of activities to protect products, production areas, warehouses, secure transportation routes; Maintaining dialogue and continuous communication with associations, authorities, partner companies and other relevant parties on strategic and operational security topics (incl. participation on domestic or regional level with those organizations, associations and governmental functions whose purposes are to prevent, detect and pursue product related criminal action); Participation in and holding of trainings, seminars, workshops (as appropriate) in order to extent the knowledge on security-topics, product crime, counter-measures and risk-based approaches in accordance to the local risks; Responsible for anti-fake activities for pharma business.
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor degree or above. You need to have profound knowledge of security management, product crime and related strategies with a solid background of a minimum of 10 years working experience in that area. You need to have proven communication and interpersonal, intercultural skills to actively represent company’s security interests towards internal business representatives and at law enforcement authorities and other officials. Experience relating to IP required. Experience of know-how protection is a plus. Excellent knowledge of English and Chinese language (oral and written) and ability to speak and write clearly.
