Security Manager (Hotel ) , Thailand


Location: Thailand

Job Qualifications

1. Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with hotel colleagues, suppliers and owning company
2. Performs any additional duties as requested by the General Manager/ Executive Assistant Manager
3. Polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented
4. Attends meetings and training as required
5. Administer the employment of all safety and security personnel
6. Keep General Manager and Executive Assistant Manager fully informed of all safety and security related issues
7. Management personnel and assist with safety and security problems

Key Responsibilities
1. Fully conversant with all health, safety, fire and emergency procedures
2. Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of Thai Law and ACCOR standards
3. Review, revise and update security and risk procedures as necessary
4. Plan and organize the security Department staff and activities, including the sub-contract security firm
5. To provide annual security department budget and to monitor budget
6. Make a significant and continuous effort to increase professional knowledge job skills and to achieve the goals in his/her career development plan
7. Responsible for carrying out training related to health & safety procedures to all team members

Leadership
1. Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language
2. Develop job descriptions, standards and task lists for shift leader and security officers with the support and approval of the General Manager/ Executive Assistant Manager
3. Look continuously for ways to improve the quality, service and impact of the hotel energy saving
4. Meet or surpass the standards of performance required in your job
5. Help consistently to achieve the goals of the Security - Department- s vision and mission statement
6. Be fully trained and prepared for all emergency procedures
7. Train all employees in security responsibilities


Liase With
1. Assists the Human Resources Department with pre employment checks on employees hired in critical areas when consulted
2. Ensure that the hotel safety and security personnel and contract guards are in proper uniform and are performing their duties in a professional manner

Eternal Liasons
1. Interacts with guests actively soliciting his feedback
2. Advice the General Manager and Executive Assistant Manager, refer procedures for the various departments throughout the hotel
3. Assist the hotel management in helping to solve problem, which may arises between guest and management
4. Communicate with government and any other related association in case of a crisis
5. Actively support the work and decisions of all teams and committees
