Job description:
Responsible for the coordination and oversight of security and safety efforts at multiple distribution centers and other in-country facilities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Provide support for and consult with management and site supervisors in regard to all safety and security matters.
Conduct security and safety audits and inspections.
At the direction of the Director of Security in Europe, conduct remote site visits to facilities within the area of responsibility.
Coordinate and manage all applicable service providers related to the installation, repair and maintenance of and monitoring issues pertaining to security systems (alarm, CCTV and access control systems).
Coordinate and conduct security and safety trainings as required.
Serve as a member of the Health & Safety Committee at the German distribution centers.
Directly report to the Director of Security, Europe.
Candidate profile:

University or polytechnic (Fachhochschule - FH) degree
Minimum five years of private security experience, coupled with a law enforcement or similar background, or five years commercial experience in the security sector
Excellent knowledge of operational safety and security laws, as well as regulatory issues
Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Working experience with US corporations and in matrix-organizations will be beneficial
Good project management skills
Thorough and process-oriented work style
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills needed to work with all levels of management
Team player
Fluency in German and English: other European language skills are beneficial
