Blizzard Entertainment is recruiting a physical security supervisor to join its general services department. This person will ensure that Blizzard’s personnel, property, and resources are protected at all times from internal and external threats or risks both in the office as well as on internal or external events hosted by Blizzard. He / she will assist with various security projects including but not limited to maintaining the Blizzard offices physical security systems, procedures, guard services, protocols, and policies.
Responsibilities
Ensure effective on-site security and access control.
Supervise third party security staff.
Monitor security systems logs, ensure and track system maintenance.
Identify security risks and issues and recommend policies and strategies to mitigate risks.
Monitor activity logs, track system maintenance and request repairs when required.
Respond to emergency situations on a 24 / 7 basis, coordinate with local law enforcement, internal facilities personnel or management as appropriate.
Audit and configure security systems and software.
Develop and review physical security training programs such as security onboarding, fire warden training, evacuation exercises, etc.
Keep up to date on French security related regulations.
Implement regular activity reports.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in office security management
Fluent in French and good command of English
Available to work non-standard hours and overtime as needed
Excellent knowledge of security regulations in France including fire protection
Sense of service with a flexible approach to adjust security operations to company culture and needs
Able to document operational processes, risk assessment, and activity reports
Able to present business cases to management
Proven experience in coordinating 3rd parties and vendors, managing costs, and contracts
Proven experience in coordinating or managing security agents
Some travel may be required
Pluses
Business continuity or crisis management certifications and training
PSC1 (prévention et secours civiques niveau 1) certified
