Reports to: Bissa General Manager.
Functional reporting to Nordgold Security Director
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for all security operations on Bissa Gold property; this includes but is not limited to:
Organization of gold protection in a plant, company assets and staff protection, organization of an investigating process for security targets, organization of strong relations with power structures authorities, implementation of functional management and CEO decisions, making monthly reports according a confirmed template, budgeting of Security department, improving of Security efficiency.
Working conditions
Work location - Burkina Faso
6 weeks on 3 weeks off rotational basis

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
Must have Military Background at NCO level
Former Special Forces unit background strongly requested
Proven Leadership experience either within the Military, security team management
International experience gained in both, Military and Private sector
Profiler and/or negotiator experience a definite plus
Clean criminal background
Good communication skills with fluency in both French and English
Mandatory previous experience in Africa
Good understanding of French institutional and legal system requirements.
