We are looking for Security Consultants to work within the Oil and Gas sector and will be responsible for the day to day management of client risk and security services. Due to the nature of this role candidates must have US Citizenship or hold the valid US work permit.
We are looking for Security Consultants to work within the Oil and Gas sector and will be responsible for the day to day management of client risk and security services. Due to the nature of this role candidates must have US Citizenship or hold the valid US work permit.
Candidates will need a broad security knowledge, with a full understanding of working in the Oil and Gas sector and will be responsible for supporting in the following areas:
Coordinate security for offshore operations and liaise with local and national security forces and any other relevant parties as required
Advise on best security practice for the operating environment
Act as security contact point between projects and our client
Create, manage and maintain appropriate security and emergency evacuation plans
Manage the security welfare of client assignees and visitors, including transport and accommodation
Coordinate security matters with client, contractors and suppliers
Provide country briefings to incoming staff and contractors where necessary
Maintain accurate data on the location and movement of personnel.
Maintain a system of 24/7 emergency contact for client and related third parties
Collect, collate, analyse and disseminate security risk- related information and data
Compile and deliver project security and risk reports as required
Report to client management on security performance, threats and risks
Monitor any third party provider security procedures and performance
Liaise with appropriate government agencies on behalf of our client.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience
Candidates will need to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a military, intelligence, police or other law enforcement agency but, is not essential if candidates can show appropriate experience and qualifications in a civilian context. Candidates will also need to have both on and offshore experience. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of ISO 22301, 27001 and 28001.
Qualifications
ISPS – SSO, FPSO, CSO – relevant to maritime and ports security
ASIS – CPP, PSP qualification
MSyI or Chartered Security Professional
