Leidos is seeking a SAAS Mod Supervisor for the Ammunition Supply Point / Theater Storage Area program in Kuwait.
Job Description:
Reports directly to the Operations Manager, maintains situational awareness of all operational activities, collects data and provide reports as required. Responsible for supervising Stock Control functions and enforcing and improving upon established processes to ensure accurate accountability and location accuracy at all times. Supervises processing of transactions effecting accountability of munitions, munitions components, and packaging material. Directs preparation of various documents, verifies documents are accurate, and ensures accountable records are complete. Plans inventories and performs causative research when discrepancies occur between stock record balances and inventory results to determine cause of discrepancies and adjustments required. Provide technical assistance and guidance on Stock Control Operations and the use of the Standard Army Ammunition System Modernization (SAAS-MOD) as required to subordinates, coworkers, and customers. Conduct SAAS-MOD training for SAAS operators and other ASP personnel as required.
Perform System Administrator functions for the Standard Army Ammunition System Modernization (SAAS-MOD). This includes management of privileges, roles, and responsibilities of Leidos employees accessing SAAS-MOD; loading of system change packages as required; archiving of files and adhering to the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP). Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in ammunition stock control operations and ammunition supply operations with experience in munitions supply point operations and procedures within the past five (5) years. Must have a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience. Must have thorough knowledge of ammunition accountability and operations. Must be capable of input and retrieval of data from Stock Control System, have the ability to generate/produce data and reports needed for all required operations, and capable of performing and managing all functions associated with SAAS-MOD applications. Must have in-depth knowledge of the read/write capability within SAAS-MOD; a Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS). Familiarity with other logistics tools such as the National Level Ammunition Capability (NLAC) is a plus, but not required.
Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English Language. Must be able to pass a background National Agency Check prior to employment. Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
