Physical Security Specialist

PAE is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Deputy Program Manager (DPM) on PAE’s contract with the U.S. Department of State (DoS) to provide security services to the three PAE held Afghan task orders currently under the Civilian Police Program (CIVPOL). The DoS Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is responsible for provision of a wide array of support to criminal justice sector development programs worldwide.
Provides security support functions such as: assisting with processing and tracking funding requisitions; tracking cost estimates; certifying guard hours, reviewing duty logs; performing data entry tasks; administering and monitoring training records, management plans, and post orders; processing and tracking' contract documents, filing.
Assists in preparation activities and report generation activities associated with the conduct of assessments and inspections.
Conduct research and collect information to assist in drafting physical security policy and procedure documents.
Maintain physical security reference materials.
Assist, as directed, in the conduct of investigations into reports of theft, loss, damage or intrusion into sensitive operational facilities.
Review draft and finished reports to ensure they are accurate and understandable.
Must demonstrate ability to write clear, concise, grammatically sound and comprehensive reports; must have basic understanding of the concepts and principles of the U.S. Government physical security system and programs.
Plans and provides analytical support for facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, business management techniques, and organizational development.
Performs security and/or intelligence services in one or more of the specialized security and/or intelligence areas. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Applying incident management, problem solving, and task performance. Producing finished documentation; e.g., reports, special studies, policy and procedure development, security designs, training programs and assessments.
Providing research and technical support to projects.
Producing solutions and documentation.
Monitoring project tasks and schedules.
Specific Qualification Requirements:
Former Public Safety/Police, Military or International Security. Operations experience no less than a combined total of 10 years.
A minimum of three years’ experience conducting security operations in Afghanistan or another conflict environment.
Active Clearance or MRPT
Knowledge of various computer programs required (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Must be able to live and work at the assignment location which could be remote and uncomfortable
Able to accurately and concisely communicate in writing or other documents Site Security Analyses and Risk Assessments.
Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
This position is most likely a 3-8 month assignment
