Description:
Candidate will provide SIGINT analysis support to the existing intelligence staffs at multiple tactical and operational echelons within the Combined Joint Operating Area - Afghanistan (CJOA-A) to support administrative, analytical, planning and reporting functions. Candidate will be a member of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support United States Force-Afghanistan (USFOR-A), Special Operations Joint Task Force (SOJTF) and Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) operations across the CJOA-A. The candidate will be responsible for for SIGINT analysis insurgent threats, mission planning, target development, damage assessment and counter-terrorism in the AOR and Afghanistan in general.

The candidate will provide input on multiple Government requirements and objectives, assists with the analysis and production of various intelligence products, and supplies analytical support for senior Military leaders. The candidate will provide input to multiple Government requirements and objectives, assists with the analysis and production of various intelligence products specifically focused on the C-IED mission set, and supplies analytical support for senior Military leaders. The candidate will attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on force protection and threat-related current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit’s mission. REQUIRED SKILLS: - A minimum of 2 to 4 years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational level experience preferred. The candidate must have successfuly completed one of the following courses:

Only active duty military time counts toward years of experience. Reserve/National Guard duty, instructor duty/training (AIT, WLC, ALC, and language, etc) does not count towards experience.


Proficiency in utilizing basic intelligence analytical tools computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development, including MS Office Product Suite (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, and Word).


Strong research capabilities and writing skills of effectively operating as a member of a tactical or strategic analytical team in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments. Former MOS 1N, 35S/P/N, 35B, 352N/P/Q/R/S, 18F, or equivalent. DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience in either IED or C-IED, CT, Afghanistan, South West Asia regional issues and SIGINT or political/military analysis preferred.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires Associate's ro Bachelor's degree or equivalent mid-level military enlisted or company grade office and four years of related experience.
