Security & Logistics Operations Manager

We are now inviting candidates of high caliber for the following position:

Security & Logistics Operations Manager - Warehousing / Logistics (Ref. no.: JD/LOG/053/151105)
This position is responsible to audit the work/performance or procedures of operations team, as well as to review and set up corrective procedures with operations team.

Responsibilities:
Conduct security/operations compliance audits for all Logistics facilities to ensure operational compliance with a risk-based approach and advise the management team on all security/operations relevant matters
Conduct risk assessment and provide recommendations to mitigate the potential risks associated
Provide operations solutions to the customers and support to contract bids, RFQs
Conduct professional and independent investigations into operations incidents to identify root causes and follow up preventative actions with related parties
Evaluate and analyze the security/operations related threats and trends on a periodic basis and act proactively to potential issues
Ensure the company’s security or thief contingency plans and procedures are maintained and appropriately applied; and in strict compliance with local laws and regulations
Liaise with local and overseas law enforcement agents and government authority, when necessary
Perform any special duties / projects as assigned by the management

Requirements:
Diploma or above with professional qualifications in security management, Logistics Management or related field
3 years’ experience as a Security Manager in a MNC environment, preferably in transportation or supply chain security
Sound knowledge of security access control systems, alarm and monitoring systems, closed-circuit television systems and logistics operations
Knowledge of local and international aviation security programs (AEO, CTPAT, RAR) and industry standards (TAPA) preferred
Knowledge in business continuity management preferred
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and China
Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
Ability to assess risks and perform independent security/operations reviews and audits
Ability to analyze situations and mitigate risks
Assertive, customer-focused and results-oriented with strong influencing skills
A good team player
Short trip to South China is required
Work location: Tsing Yi
