International Security Activity - Program Security Adviser (police/military exp.)

Job description

Reporting to the Director of Security, India, Middle East and Africa, this Security Adviser position will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and provide security support for The Boeing Company’s defense programs in the Kingdom.

The position holder will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a wide range of security advice, guidance and support to Boeing’s defense programs. Responsibilities include maintaining effective liaison with representatives of the Saudi government and other critical in-country contacts, consulting, advising and supplying security and safety advice, and applying Boeing security standards, processes and procedures. The incumbent will require excellent communications and complex problem solving abilities, and be adept and highly proficient in the areas of security risk management, physical, personnel and industrial security, Export Compliance, emergency planning and crisis management. The adviser will also develop business-focused security policies and supporting procedures, conduct investigations, deliver critical security assessments, oversee and promote security education and develop training initiatives.

This is a Boeing Level 4 or Level 5 position for an international local hire.


Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A current US or UK security clearance (to Secret level) or the capability to be so cleared.
Previous regional security experience with a military and/or police background.
Ability to work unsupervised to tight deadlines and to prioritize work accordingly
Experience in dealing with sensitive information
