Qualifications:
A relevant tertiary qualifications in Security Risk Management
10 - 15 years’ experience in the field of Security in a mining environment
5 Years’ experience in a Managerial Role in the Security Discipline
Good interpersonal skills to deal with challenges in the mining environment
Be able to interface with all internal and external stakeholders
No Criminal Record
A valid Certificate of Fitness or the ability to obtain one
Job Profile and Responsibilities:
Maintain a secure and harmonious working climate
Ensures through effective leadership that the Security department for the region is administered equitably
Develop and establish the appropriate role of Security within the organisation to cater for the changing environment
Liaise with other regions, within the Gold division, in-house mining departments, outside mining Security departments, the local authorities for the purpose of promoting good working relationships in Security matters

Salary:
Salary will be in accordance with the AngloGold Ashanti Schedule of Salaries.
