Description
Jacobs is currently assisting our United States based client with a very large construction, logistical move, and consolidation project in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. A large number of buildings are currently under construction and this will be a huge new installation from scratch of Command, Control, Communication, and Computer Integration as well as the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment.

Due to the nature of our client and the project all applicants must be US passport holders.

In addition to the base salary included in the package are a housing allowance, a Foreign Service premium, and mobilization and de-mobilization assistance. Being an overseas position, this assignment has some tax incentives. Medical coverage and other standard Jacobs’ benefits are also part of this package.

In general, as a Security Manager, the professional is functioning as a team leader and task manager. A Security Manager can develop and lead tasks from start to finish and has a good understanding of procedures and methods. In addition, the Security Manager demonstrates leadership and mentors junior staff.

· Read/understand specific guidance (SOP, FM, Pamphlets) from the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) Security Division.
· Conduct a Performance Verification Test (PVT) under the guidance of the DES Security Division
· Conduct pre-occupancy inspections for Arms Vaults and COMSEC vaults under the guidance of the DES Security Division
· Conduct physical security inspections for Security specific signage, Fencing, Barriers, Entry hardware…etc. per requirements specified by the design
· Conduct any other physical security duties associate with transitioning facilities to tenant units as required by the design and DES security division


Qualifications
A Security Manager will mainly support Initial Outfitting & Transition, Physical & Electronic Security Coordination tasks and will manage Security staff.
· Minimum of 5 years + experiences in the field is required
· Bachelor’s degree is required
· Possess and maintain a secret clearance I preferred
· Meet current Office of Personnel Management 0080 qualification standards is preferred
· Be formally trained at the U.S. Army Military Police School Conventional Physical Security/Crime Prevention Course (7H–31D/830–ASIH3) is preferred (If this has not been done previously, we can offer the training to meet this criteria)
· Ability to mentor and teach others is required
· Propose, discuss, and refine solutions
· Basic computer skills are required
· Maintain good client relationships and delight the client with high-quality deliverables is required
