Munitions Storage Supervisor (Notional Opportunity)

Primary Function:

Responsible for planning, directing and supervising work involved in the receipt, storage, transfer, adjustment, issuance and accountability of U.S. titled conventional ammunition, explosives and ammunition components for the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and Theater Storage Area (TSA) located at Camp Arifjan and Al Jalai’a, Kuwait. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values.

Essential Functions:

Reviews storage workload; plans and schedules work based on priorities outlined in storage plan
Reviews inventories and takes necessary action to correct discrepancies
Recommends changes in shipment or receipt plans to supervisor based on current and projected storage space
Maintains close coordination with QASAS for facility inspections
Ensures that all the ammunition received or transferred are accurate in quantity and lot number
Respon­sible for the overall cleanliness and physical security of the ASP/TSA storage areas

Job Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in munitions supply point procedures with demonstrated knowledge of storage/quantity distance procedures as prescribed by DA Pam 385-64 Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards
Must have skill sets to enforce all class V regulatory requirements as described in but not limited to DA Pam 385-64 Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards and DA Pam 385- 10 Army Safety Program
Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language
Must be able obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
Must be willing to travel OCONUS
Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
If former military, must have received an honorable discharge
Must possess valid passport
Must have experience in applicable safety standards
