Special Security Representative - OCONUS – Afghanistan

Job Description:
The Special Security Representative conducts day-to-day management of implementation of SCI security and administrative management of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in accordance with DoD 5105.21-M-1 and applicable theater security policies and procedures. Advises and assists with SCI program management and coordinates with higher command SSOs. Prepares and maintains various security forms for SCIF accreditation.
Requirements:
Five years as DoD Security Management
At least 2 years as a fully qualified SSO or SSR
Thorough knowledge of DoD 5105.21-M-1 and DCID 1/19 policies and procedures
Must have been previously SCI-indoctrinated up to SI/TK/G/H level
Attention to detail, strong follow-through skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as a member of the team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and handle high-pressure situations
Experience using: MS Word, Power-Point, Excel, & Outlook, JPAS
Experience living, working for extended periods in cross-cultural environments (living or working abroad, learning the host nation language, etc.).
BA/BS degree is preferred
Military experience is preferred
Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI
CI Poly preferred
