Senior Munitions Supervisor

Senior Munitions Supervisor (Notional Opportunity)

Primary Function:

Directly manages critical areas of operation throughout the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and Theater Storage Area (TSA) located at Camp Arifjan and Al Jalai’a, Kuwait. Responsible for ensuring enough materiel and personnel are available to accomplish the tasks outlined in the performance work statement (PWS). Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values.

Essential Functions:
Develops specific operational SOPs for each worksite
Perform appropriate key control and crime prevention procedures to reduce/eliminate potential for theft or loss of ammunition
Collect data and provide reports as required by senior management personnel or the Government
Maintain all assigned government furnished equipment, including material handling equipment, required in the daily performance of duties
Interfaces directly with the Quality Assurance Specialist Ammunition Surveillance (QASAS) inspectors providing support as required and take appropriate corrective action as necessary
Ensures all activities are performed in accordance with all applicable laws (US and Kuwait), regulations, standards and codes imposed by the U.S. GovernmentJob Requirements:
Minimum of six (6) years’ experience total in ammunition operations
Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience in ammunition operations, during that timeframe must have been overseeing a minimum of seven (7) personnel in ammunition operations
Within the past seven (7) years he/she must have worked at an ammunition supply point for a minimum of one (1) year
Minimum of three (3) years ammunition operations supervisory experience overseeing at least seven (7) individuals
Minimum six (6) years overall experience in ammunition supply operations with experience in munitions supply point operations and procedures within the past seven (7) years
Must obtain and maintain a current operator’s license for warehouse forklifts and other ASP/TSA equipment necessary for the operation
Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
Must be willing to travel OCONUS
Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
If former military, must have received an honorable discharge
Must possess valid passport
Must have experience in applicable safety standards
