Job Description
This role will provide security support and advice to the BOQ Group including:
Managing and coordinating security incidents, including hold ups and irate and threatening incidents.
Responding to and managing security alarms.
Management and maintenance of security policies, procedures and other counter measure implementation.
Manage security work orders including quotes, invoicing, vendor management and administration
Manage enquiries from the network to minimize security risks across the BOQ Group

Key Area
Key Tasks

Manage security incidents and alarms

Manage security incidents, including holds up and irate and threatening incidents and stakeholder notifications;
Monitor and respond to security alarms across from across the network and provide assistance for resetting false activations;
Provide technical support for security alarms via Forcefield remote access system and act as a backup for Security Technician where required;
Produce critical incident and business reports for all threats and/or security incidents;
Liaise with Property Operations to provide assistance with the management of all security incidents;
Liaise with Police and other external stakeholders as required
Assist with after hours security on call roster as required

Security Risk Assessments
Assist in the co-ordination of security risk assessments, including coordination of external assessors, branches and communications to the BOQ Network;
Manage the administration and reports from the security risk assessments;
Request quotes and raise work orders associated with recommendations resulting from risk assessments and see through to completion;
Assist with security floor plan mark up for BOQ Network for new sites, existing sites and relocations

Stakeholder/Relationship Management
Work closely with Property Operations and ensure a strong working relationship between GS&BR and Property Operations teams, providing assistance to Property Operations for general maintenance and other property projects as required;
Manage internal relationships and ensure correct BOQ stakeholders are engaged throughout security matters as required, including Retail, Property & WHS
Liaise with Police and other external agencies as required
Assist with Contract Vendor management.

Administration, Reports & Enquiries
Maintain databases for all security incidents and threats;
Raise and manage work orders through to completion;
Review and prepare invoices for payment and forwarded to Accounting weekly;
Assist with management and other security reports;
Manage and coordinate security enquires from across the network;
Provide advice and support on security policy and procedures to all internal stakeholders;
Assist with the review and documentation of all security policy, procedures, manuals and other security documentation

Assist when required with event planning and co-ordination of authorities for public forum for CEO and Executive Management personnel protection;
Maintain databases for all security incidents and threats.
Assist the Physical Security Manager and Security Technician with any other projects or security work as required
Required Skills
Substantial knowledge of the Bank’s general banking operations and lending
Working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 2000, MS Office 2000 and 2003 and Microsoft Server technology, Excel
Experience with scanners, printing solutions, desktop and laptop equipment
Sound knowledge of industry changes
Ability to manage complex strategic risk and threat based decisions Required Experience
Experience in the Security Industry preferred
Minimum Cert IV Risk Management preferred
3 years experience in a similar role
Administration of accounts payable / receivable
Proven customer service orientation
Exceptional client management skills
Experience of business operations, processes, financial management and/or planning, ideally within a financial services organization
Excellent relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
Negotiation skills
