Security Manager

Essential job functions
* Manage and administer all security related contracts for mill site and forestry
* Provide, oversee and manage proactive and reactive strategies to minimize risk to forestry and mill site operations
* Liaise extensively with law enforcement at all levels where Stora Enso operates

Major tasks and responsibilities:
* Direct all security aspects in GIPO in cooperation with GIPO management.
* Direct development of effective strategies to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations and safeguard the company, its people and operations. Implement standards and expectations for site security, operations and activities to ensure the protection of executives, managers, employees, customers, stakeholders, visitors, etc, (both physical and information assets). Assure quality, consistency, and efficiency of security processes for prevention, crisis response, and business continuity within the area of responsibility.
* Coordinate with management to identify and maintain security processes, practices and policies that reduce risks, respond to incidents and limit exposure and liability in all areas of information, financial, physical, personal and reputation risk.
* Assure compliance with all government regulatory requirements relative to Security.
* Develop and sustain relationships with local and high level law enforcement and security organizations and private sector counterparts.
* Oversee the mill site security infrastructure, including access controls, CCTV, fences, gates guardhouses, patrol reporting systems
* Oversee the security set-up in both Mill and the Forestry operations, including managing the security companies
* Manage, Oversee and audit security service contracts
* Select, train and lead guard forces in the implementation of security processes
* Establish and maintain reporting on security non compliances to the appropriate management.


Qualifications 
* Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred. Concentration in management, criminal justice, law enforcement technology or similar field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 8 to12 years’ experience in law enforcement, security or intelligence for governmental agencies or major multinational corporations.
* Extensive experience in managing and conducting international security operations including physical security, investigations, personal protection and crisis management. Operating in a multi-national environment preferred.
* Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills including the ability to operate effectively at all levels of the organization
* Both English and Mandarin (oral and written) communication skills are required.
