Job description
The Security Inspections Adviser and Policy Developer is a subject matter expert establishing and maintaining relationships with Client Stakeholders and Agency key leaders within the airport, aircraft and VIP security sectors. Additionally, the successful Subject Matter Expert is responsible for providing strategic guidance, representing Client interests with Stakeholders, collecting information regarding Stakeholder/Agency roles and responsibilities, conducting analysis of education and training programs, and assessing interagency cooperation and overall readiness to accomplish assigned missions in security focus areas 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 
Advise clients on High Value Cargo Security including mobile and static oversight of items of extreme high net value and worthy of a dedicated security plan Advise clients on Escort Security including mobile escort of persons and individuals in public and non-public access areas Advise clients on VIP Security Assistance including foot escorts for individuals deemed VIP in specific areas of airports and non-public areas Advise clients on Aircraft Security including assisting in ensuring the security integrity of VIP and Diplomatic aircraft are secured at all times Advise clients on Event Security concerning various special events that require a high caliber security plan to oversee aspects of the security needs Advise clients on Close Protection in various roles often assisting with Close Protection Details and various responsibilities to ensure the operations are carried out successfully 

Minimum Qualifications: 
Minimum Bachelors degree in a security related field Minimum 5 years experience at the State or National Level in planning, directing and coordinating multi agency crisis response actions or education and training programs Minimum 10 years experience planning, coordinating or directing security plans Expertise in Airport security Expert in aircraft security measures and best practices Thorough understanding of the various departments and agencies roles and responsibilities in security planning Overseas experience is desirable in order to be able to effectively understand education and training requirements Demonstrated ability to write clearly and prepare in-depth reports which may include the application of a variety of analytical techniques Ability to prepare and conduct executive level briefings on a wide variety of topics, and the ability to communicate effectively with relevant parties within and outside the Client and its Stakeholders Experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of internal and external training plans and programs Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures; Experience as an Air Marshall or similar experience Eligible for a U.S. Secret level Security Clearance.
