A. Overall Purpose Of The Job
To drive regional travel security evacuation planning, operational and business development support to the International SOS and Control Risks distribution channels in order to drive Chinese customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

B. Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Supporting the growth of the Chinese security business in the Middle East and Africa through a focus on quality of service and support to sales and marketing efforts:
Providing local market, customer and competitor insight
Drive the security sales pipeline in conjunction with the Regional Security Manager Security Solutions and EEMEA regional/ local sales teams
Major focus on supporting the Chinese outbound security business
Participation in the Security Peer program [JM1] with Chinese companies operating in the region
Sales/bid team membership for significant new Chinese business or renewal opportunities
[JM2] Identify and flag potential DNR risk amongst Chinese clients
Marketing activities in support of China outbound initiatives and the broader MENSA regional priorities
Contribute key SME input for developing regional China client-specific solutions
Coordinate joint security opportunities and drive referrals to and from Control Risks
Support localisation initiatives including Mandarin language services

Operations and Information
Participate in MENSA RSC Assistance Desk supervisory roster and 24/7 on-call operations coverage as appropriate
Monitoring and contributing to the Travel Security Online and Country Risks Forecasts reports and open sources and through daily interaction with the Regional Security Information Manager (RSIM).
Deploying as part of an Incident Management Team in MENSA or globally in response to an incident where clients require on-the-ground assistance, with a particular focus on Chinese clients.

Security Consulting
Delivering Security Awareness Training and Evacuation Planning in Mandarin and English.

International (security) work experience in the Middle East or Africa
Business development, consultancy and sales experience
Experience in security operations management: in military, government (officer or senior NCO), or private sector roles;
Experience in the planning, development and delivery of training

Required Qualifications
Knowledge of the political and security landscape of the Middle East and Africa. Solid working knowledge of the broader regional and global security environment.
Undergraduate degree (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security or international relations studies.
Accreditation as a Certified Protection Professional by the American Society of Industrial Security or similar industry body is an advantage

Required Languages
Excellent spoken and written Mandarin and English languages

Travel / Rotation Requirements
Travel dependant on business needs
